Choice Program Information

Shining Star Christian Schools are part of the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program.

Enrollment Process

You can download step-by-step instructions for your convenience.

  • Open enrollment periods are the 1st – 20th of each month (except September and January).
  • All returning students must re-enroll to be assured a seat for the coming school year!

Online Registration Process

  • Go to the DPI website – http://dpi.wi.gov/SMS/choice-programs
  • Complete the online enrollment form.
  • Check your email for a message from DPI informing you of which supporting documents you will need to bring to Shining Star to complete the enrollment process.
  • Bring your supporting paperwork to the Shining Star Main Office during business hours (Monday – Friday; 7:30 am – 3:30 pm)
